This probably indicates I have grown as a person sice I was sixteen. Have desire to be someone who doesn't have Finals. Realise will get my wish if I live long enough, but this is NOT THE POINT.

Panic panic. Please to be talking me down from tree. Panicpanic. Am tired of being calm. Have been very calm, one feels. Almost zen. Have been serene. Have talked other people down from trees.

Honestly - they do get better after the first one. I woke up and went back to sleep THREE times on the morning of my first one - each time having dreamed some horrid exam-themed dream, and yet for all the subsequent ones I've woken up without trouble. You'll just get into the rhythm of things. It'll be okay. :)

You know much more than you think you do, or than you can actually hold in your conscious mind at any one moment, and when it really comes down to it the best preparation is to be relaxed so that the stuff you know but don't know you know can come bubbling up from your memory. Which is far easier said than done, natch.

Hi, you don't know me, I'm a random Aussie who got here via casirafics a while ago, but I'd just like to say that:

It will pass and you will be OK, because while exams are a very fast pile of horror, but the thing is that they are so fast that soon they are over and you can collapse in tired joy.

Or this is what I keep telling myself, because I've got two waiting sneakily around the corner for me at the end of June, and many assessments in between me and them, which are grinning evilly at me and so on.

Also if it helps at all I am very envious of the whole Oxford (!) thing because I'm a second year Medieval Studies major, which is a strange thing to be in Australia.

And the icon is for what I hope you get when you get your results!
