raven: [hello my name is] and a silhouette image of a raven (Default)
Yeah... today was a good day. I got up at nine again - and washed my hair but the oil wouldn't come out. Rawr. Obviously I was the only person who could see it. Anyway, went into town with Becca. I wanted to meet Loz, but I never saw her - we went to Quiggins but she wasn't there at the same time as us I guess. Anyway, I went up to Woodstock, got new chains, and later on got little barbed wire bracelet that I liked.
We went up to Starbucks and I got a cafe mocha with extra whipped cream and extra espresso - heaven on earth. In other words, the most fun you can have without kissing the sky. Went to Subway after that and had a healthy, environmentally friendly sandwich, which contrary to what you'd think tasted like nectar...
I thought about going to Courts, but I didn't mention it and besides we probably wouldn't have had time anyway. We got back round five thirty, and Becca thought about getting ready and I painted my nails with glow-in-the-dark nail varnish. What did I end up wearing? Um... flowered jeans, plain white top, pocket chains, couple of Becca's bracelets, plus one I got from Janpath and the barbed wire one. I would have put the smaller chains around my neck, but I forgot them! *grrr*
I didn't think I'd enjoy the awards' night thingit - I get bored and Katrina gets on my nerves and I try and pick a fight with her, usually succeed and also succeed in pissing everyone off while I'm at it. But it wasn't like that at all. Katrina and I got on, and everyone ended uo dancing to cheesy Abba songs in the midst of bubbkes blowing everywhere. I had one of those moments where time stands absolutely still, and you hope the moment will last forever. It didn't, of course, but there was laughter all round when Kat won the raffle - she won a bottle of sparkling white wine her mum won't let her drink! I wanted to drink it, I'll confess - I absolutely love the stuff - but we didn't. Pity...
I got home about half an hour ago to see Aloysius has sent me some gen fic to read. I still have three days off school to read it in! So right now, I feel happy. No depression. Talking of depression, tomorrow I'm buying a book off Amazon - More, Now, Again by Elizabeth Wurtzel.

"There was no hurry, for there was nowhere to go, nothing to do, nothing to buy and no money to buy it with."

Sad words. Sad words from a sad raven. I'm not bored, I'm restless. I don't want to sit still, I don't want to go anywhere, I don't want to do anything. It's a beautiful day, but there's so many people out that I don't want to go the beach. It's a classic "the grass is always greener on the other side" mentality. I want to do something, I don't want to do anything... it's sunny and I wish it were raining, and if it were raining I'd pray for sun.
Today, I have:

  • Read To Kill a Mocking bird... again.
  • Read the Sunday Times cover to cover... again.
  • Ordered that book I wantedm and...
  • Nothing else.

My life sucks. What a strikingly orignal statement I have just made. And I call myself a writer. Crap. I can't even write today.

I like this kind of quiz - I don't know why! I need to get a life... fast....
Tonight has been somewhat irritating. Had another pointless fight with mother, then we made up, sort of, then fought again. I don't even know what it was about, or even if there was anything or I just piss her off in general.
I am not looking forward to tomorrow. I didn't even get to go the beach today, and a car caught fire in the pinewoods and there was queues for miles.
Never mind... on to the quiz...
