Hannah: hello?
Hannah: methinks that there is nobody there
Hannah: there are two possibilities for this type of phenomena.
Hannah: 1 - Iona has been detained by non-english speaking grandmother or other member of family, and is downstairs/out of bedroom, and therefore cannot see that someone is trying to talk to her
Hannah: 2 - Something is wrong with either Iona's or my own messenger service, so she cannot see that I am getting in to contact with her.
Hannah: there is a third, of course, and that is that Iona is simply ignoring me, but that would be too horrid to think about, so let's forget that one.
Hannah: Well, I will give her a bit longer to return to her computer, and then I will re-open the window and try again.
Hannah: it does strike me as strange that I am talking to myself.
Hannah: but why should it? I do it out loud, which is potentially more embarrassing than doing it online, and at least no one can tell I am talking to myself. I could just be talking to someone who is also called Hannah, who likes purple text.
Hannah: that would be coooooooool.
Hannah: okay, that's enough, I'm going to try again.
Hannah: but this was fun, we should to it again some time.
Hannah: just in case I'm going to save this conversation for the future.
