(no subject)
May. 4th, 2005 06:17 pmMeh! Much stuff to be peeved about.
Firstly, school. Waah. Two and a half weeks until study leave begins, and I seem to have a mock every day. (Seriously - this week has two Politics, one Chemistry and one English, and there are only four and a half days in the week)
Speaking of which, Chemistry mock practical this afternoon was an unmitigated disaster. It was a self-indicating iodate/manganate titration, which didn't seem so bad. I got the endpoint perfectly, without overshooting in the slightest, and put aside the conical flask while I refilled and set up for the next one - only, in those few minutes, the colour faded. I panicked, but there wasn't time to do it again and I had to do the written paper with that horribly yellow-and-not-pink solution sitting there staring at me.
So there is general badness on the school front. In other news, I always acquired five dozen plot bunnies when I have no time whatsover to write. The Four/Nine I threatened Colleen with is being slowly written, and the litgeek!Doctor fic, which stalled magnificently before I left, has painfully resurrected itself.Possibly the subject mirroring the medium I did not say that because I do in fact have a sense of humour. Leigh, if you're still up for it (and I do hope so) I'll send it to you the moment it's finished, which should be soon.
Ah, I die. I'm tired and fed up of revision which hasn't even started yet. Colleen, we are going to have that Doctor Who night if it kills me. End of the World and City of Death should make for a nice fun night with jellybabies and blatant fannishness. (And thanks to
quackaquacka, I also have Logopolis.) Now, if only my parents would let me out of the house.
This is more like an email than an LJ entry. I do apologise. And if you don't hear from me for a while, it is because I have died from boredom.
Sigh.
