Fic:: Walking Barefoot To Palestine
Jan. 29th, 2005 02:16 pmIn which I fangirl Pegasus B. It makes me want to watch Atlantis, goddammit. I don't know why - the episodes I have watched have been dull as ditchwater, mostly, and Elizabeth Weir drives me crazy 'cause she's so annoying. Shep and McKay are cute and woobie-ish, as is Scottish-doctor-guy, but they couldn't salvage my interest in the show. But then there's Pegasus, and it's so good, and I want to watch the show just so I know what's going on. (Who the hell is Zelenka?)
Anyway. This is my contribution to the party, and my apologies to anyone who's seen it twice.

For the uninitiated, Pegasus B is a free-for-all AU in which Daniel didn't join the Stargate programme in 1997. Instead, he joined it eight years later as part of the Atlantis expedition. There are other bits to it, but that's the fundamental alteration.

gamesiplay - she knows how to spell "quinquereme." Apparently, I don't.
[Actually, Leigh, Word thinks it's "quinquireme", which is why the spellcheck didn't pick it up, but Merriam-Webster agrees with you, so that's what I'm going for. Unless I've discovered some obscure difference between British and American spelling. Huh.]
