I had a choice today. Either go with my parents to buy bathroom fixtures, or stay at home. I chose staying at home.
Shortly afterwards,
shipperkitten came online and wanted to know what I was doing this afternoon. She, poor girl, was condemned to going round the Tate. And not the Tate Modern, either. She wanted company. I thought about it, finally thought what the hell, and set off. It was already three in the afternoon when I got to Liverpool, so we didn't have all that much time to go around, but it was fun.
I actually wanted to buy something for myself today, but couldn't find anything. Instead, I helped Emily buy stuff, and ended up with a sandwich for myself. We wandered round the city and eventually ended up at Chavasse, where we discussed everything from sci-fi to the Lambanana to Em's pyromania to the possible motives of a man with a brick. He was just walking along carrying it on his shoulder. We couldn't figure it out.
We were also talking about the Enterprise episode Unexpected. I hope I still have it. It's a good one; I once wrote a fic where SG-1 watch it and are typically sarcastic about it.
And that is all.
