Some non-events
Feb. 13th, 2004 10:44 pmI'm bored...
My parents have gone out and they've taken my grandmother. This can only be a good thing. I've had the evening to myself, and sadly enough, have been looking forward to it for most of the week. It's just nice not to have to worry about scaring/offending people. Stargate season 7 was on tonight, but like
hathy_col, I did not watch it. The sacrifices being made round here are incredible.
Patrick called me again, which was nice. We talked about stuff. I'm aware that whenever I mention him here, I never actually say anything about him, but that's a good thing. As
hathy_col has said, he's a male version of me. Talking about him would be very boring, seeing as you're already reading my journal. We always end up talking about cows, for some reason. I don't know why.
The day was long and not remarkably interesting, so I won't go into detail about it. I ought to have handed in my work experience form but I couldn't be bothered; apparently I missed exploding custard yesterday; and I now know what a subordinate clause is. A series of non-events, in fact. I was glad to be home and I've very glad it's half term. It will be a week of fun and good stuff; although, there has been one setback.
purplerainbow, Becca can't come on Monday. She just texted me about it. I'd ring you but I'm feeling a bit whacked-out for some reason and you probably wouldn't get much sense out of me. I do want to still go on Monday, if only so I don't get lost. Besides, I haven't seen you in ages.
And lastly! The really big news! Paramount are finally, finally showing the last ever M*A*S*H episode - Goodbye, Farewell, Amen - tomorrow at ten. I haven't seen it, and I can't tape it - we can't tape off Sky at the moment - so I have to watch it tomorrow, and so should everyone else. Thank you and good night.
