Brevity is the essence of... something.
Feb. 12th, 2004 02:04 pmI'm at home.
The reasons for this are a little complicated. I was late into school anyway, seeing as how I decided to go back to sleep after switching my alarm off. In the end, I trudged in and made a beeline for my chair in the common room. I sat there for about ten minutes, looked at Bev's photos, listened to Mr Donan talking about work experience again, and then wondered if I ought to go to Politics. In the end I did go; perhaps a bad move as it later turned out. At about ten o'clock, I decided I'd had enough, informed Mr Evans - he was characteristically laid-back and gave me some sheets about political parties to "peruse at your leisure" - and went off down to the office, who were in fact rather helpful. Because of them, Pedar arrived some time later and we both went home - he was trying to avoid a clinic and I gave him a perfect excuse. He has since gone to do a Caesarean section, and I am going to watch Red Dwarf. Because I can.
