Valentine's Day
Feb. 14th, 2004 03:48 pm"Remember me when you're the one you've always dreamed, remember me whenever noses start to bleed..."
Oh, sorry. In honour of the date, I ought to be listening to silly love songs. I have my mp3 player and the media player is up on screen, so let's see...
"Every move you make, every bond you break, every step you take, I'll be watching you..."
Too stalkerish.
"And late at night, while I was on all fours, she used to watch me kiss the floor..."
Maybe not.
"Ordering a coffee that I wouldn't ever drink, just to keep you in Paris on my mind..."
Getting better, but too depressing.
"Lullabies fill your room, and I will be singing, singing to only you..."
Perfect. I knew I had a silly love song in me somewhere.
Happy Valentine's to all. It may be a Hallmark holiday, but, well, it's rather nice. Patrick has decided to get me something terribly twee and schmaltzy which I will then have to pretend to like. Huh. And for some reason I'm lapsing into Yiddish.
In other news, I have discovered that Goodbye, Farewell, Amen and the new series of Jonathan Creek are on at the same time. This displeases me.
So does UCAS, through whose website I've been trawling this afternoon. I don't really know what to do.
