Fuck.

Fuck, fuck, fuck.

Whoever hacked me - I am so sick of it. I don't know why I seem to be associated with such insecure people with omg-lol-I-can-hack-people-I-rock mentalities, but it's not something I'm proud of. I have a goddamn public journal. It's public for a reason. I have nothing to hide. As for my email account - you wanna break in there? You won't find anything except LJ comments, feedback emails, and betas, both that I've done and asked other people to do. You might find the occasional personal email. Well, it was sent to me for a reason. For me to read it, and me alone.

And the thing that makes me really angry? It's not clever, this kind of hacking. If I wanted, I could try it myself. But just because you can, why does that mean you should? My email account and particularly my journal are my property. Intellectual property, maybe, but my property nonetheless. Hacking them is exactly the same, ethically, as theft. And I'm pissed off now. I'm changing my email address completely.

And yes, one more thing - I've checked through my journal and inbox, and nothing seems to be altered except the passwords. I've checked my own journal, of course, but I can't check through everyone else's journals, so if anyone's got a bizarre comment (or any kind of comment) from me (between 10pm and 11am BST) please let me know.

Seeing as there's been no alterations made, the only thing I could think of was that I'd been hacked so someone could see friends-only entries made by someone whose friends list I'm on. That's a long shot, though, because there aren't that many people on my friends list who have friends-only journals.

Gah. I hate this. I'm never angry, just aggravated. At this point, I'm completely and utterly pissed off.

What have I achieved today?

I have plane tickets.
I have painted my nails silver.
I have had "Fucking Paki!" shouted at me.
I have been hacked.
I have had [livejournal.com profile] emerald_embers explain the varying merits of mouldy coconut and mouldy salsa.

Okay, I'm bored of doing that now. Back to writing in prose form as opposed to the list. I actually revised today. Did a few chapters of chemistry, and actually feel like I've learned a few things. It all went surprisingly smoothly, and I'm pleased. Following on from chemistry, someone requested that I explain electrolysis half equations, which I shall now do... )

I went out to the village with Pedar just now, and the weather's lovely. We only went for a short while - Pedar's had a long day and had to do a multitude of Caesarean sections, or so he said - but we did drop into Pritchard's for a few minutes, and found out Tony is still absolutely set on the idea of opening at midnight to sell the new Harry Potter. He showed me the first Harry Potter book, translated into Latin. I found it utterly hilarious. It begins "Dominus et Domina Dursley, qui vivebant..." but I can't remember any more. He's only got the one copy so far, but has had to order more because of unexpected demand. That, I think, says a lot about the kind of village Formby is.

So that is all, and back to Chemistry, I think.

Owww!

Oww. Oww-ow--ow-owww!

Never let me go this long without putting my earrings in again. Oww!

Piercing holes through your own flesh - delightful.
