Uneventful (in the exteme)
Apr. 2nd, 2003 07:57 pmI'm slightly jealous of people who are breaking up tomorrow and who never have to wear school uniform again. I always feel better, however, when I remember that these are the people who are firewalled to within an inch of their lives, less of an inclination to skive, and have the oddest timetable ever.
My day has been uneventful in the extreme. No
_detroit or
cucharita, and I don't think I really did anything. Listened to Becca and Hel moaning Mrs-Williams-is-an-arse in stereo sound - one in each ear - and found myself some strawberries at lunchtime. Those strawberries were probably the highlight of my day, and that's not to say it was a bad day. It was just rather boring. I think everyone is tired. It's been five weeks, nearly, since half term, and it wasn't much of a half term, either, what with the amount of work we have to do and the amount of revision still to come. I think my teachers believe that is what I am already doing - revising, that is, which is patently not the case. However, I must have done some work over the last two months, as I'm tired, too, in a long-term, I-need-a-holiday sort of way. So far tonight, I've done varying degrees of nothing at all, beyond composing a couple of fandom limericks.
Have done French, now. Should do History and English... but I'm too tired.
