raven: [hello my name is] and a silhouette image of a raven (fallen embers)
[personal profile] raven
The morning was spent in maths and then in French, neither of which are fun, and were happily broken up by a twenty minute conversation at break on, among various things, necrophilia. Suddenly realised that [livejournal.com profile] cucharita, [livejournal.com profile] lilka and [livejournal.com profile] emerald_embers will all be leaving in three months and I will be all on my ownsome. Well, not quite. But there will be no-one to talk to about slash/porn/necrophilia and I will be very sad.

I am bored. And very hungry. I refuse to agree that this journal is interesting.
"I am bored. And very hungry." How is that remotely interesting? And last night's bored analysis of Daniel and Hawk whumping was nothing but self-indulgence. And oh, look, here goes another update along the same lines.

I guess the reason I'm hungry is something to do with the fact the French lesson was all about food. Les lasagnes, et les escargots, et la bouillabaisse, et le chocolat, et peut-etre la chose plus importante, la cafe au lait.
See? Bored.

It took a while, but I eventually remembered that I'd been writing last night. It always takes me a long time to remember stuff like that - I've been awake for hours and only now do I begin to remember what I was doing before I went to bed last night. Writing, that is. Two fics simulataneously, one M*A*S*H, one Stargate. The M*A*S*H one is better at present, but that's probably because I've been too long out of the fandom to get the voices of the Stargate characters exactly right. Although, whumping convincingly is like riding a bike. You never forget.

The fic I like better is the M*A*S*H one and I think I ought to try and finish it tonight. Perhaps. Maybe. It might be one of those fics that takes aeons to finish because I can only write one sentence at a time. That does actually sound likely because last night, I listened to the October Project's Something More Than This four times, so that's four times six minutes, twenty-four minutes, and I only wrote one pargraph. Four sentences, which is hardly more than nothing. It was, however, the crucial paragraph. From hereonin I just have to fill in the gaps.

While I've been typing this, [livejournal.com profile] cucharita has been making [livejournal.com profile] _detroit a new layout. I am now going to look at that...
