Emily seems to be turning into me.
I mean, last year, I was the fanfiction queen. I was also part of the Daniel-whumping nobility. I was a semi-mosher, with badges on my hat, baggy jeans with chains, spiky earrings, lots of bracelets. I was a hat person, generally regarded as weird. I was also a fan of Nirvana and Something Corporate.
I am still all of those things.
But now so is Emily!

on 2002-10-18 02:42 pm (UTC)If it's any consolation, I wore baggy jeans and chains before. And wrote quite a lot of fanfic (just not Stargate fanfic). And wore bracelets. And slogan t-shirts...
But I don't have my ears pierced (will after the mocks! am going with hannah so she can get hers pierced for the 2nd time!).
Its the badges and music I've started to love.
It is freaky.
But we still have many differences
Like the fact that you can't stand S/J ship (btw, Sam/Jack is an actual interest on livejournal!), and I can't stand slash! And I could reel of many other things...
Oh! We're going to watch the shawshank redemption on thursday night. Hannah and Clare *have* to see it. And we all agree that you *have* to see Starship Troopers. Even Hannah liked it!

on 2002-10-19 04:10 am (UTC)Anyway... the Shawshank Redemption - yes, we have to watch it! (I have shawshank redemption in my interests list, and so do you, but because of the single word "the" they don't match!)
And I knew about Sam/Jack as a listed interest - but so is "yelling at inanimate objects" and "anal fisting without lubrication!"
