Just when you thought wacky stuff had stopped happening to me, a tree fell on my parents' house last night (!!!) It seems, if not ok, at least as ok as it can be when a tree falls on your house - it hasn't gone through the roof, it doesn't seem to have caused any structural damage, no one was hurt thank goodness and the tree guys are coming to take it away. But holy fuck, you guys. The storm winds hit 50mph, I guess I have a great response to anyone who thinks climate change isn't a thing?

Yikes! That is a scary thing to happen, we had a tree come through our roof when I was a teenager. I'm glad nobody was hurt and no major damage.

I'm so glad no-one was hurt. As someone at his parents' house, which only suffered a few overturned plantpots amidst other homes which were less lucky, I empathise.

Ah, fuck. We had a huge oak tree come down last February and it just barely missed the house. Terrifying. Glad everything's as okay as it can be, under the circumstances.
