Further to the previous: on Tumblr, philomytha and soupytwist were talking about Rivers of London crossovers, and how the timing works, at least, for Nightingale to have made a sea voyage to Australia - and I wrote a story:

that shall be bright (1108 words) by Raven
"...and then Phryne Fisher steps into the room with the full radiance of the southern sun lighting up her hair, and he feels a long, long way from home."

Nightingale, aged twenty-eight and a diplomat par excellence, makes a visit.

I've cleaned it up a bit, and no content notes apply.

Having not seen the show (yet?), have not read the fic (yet!); relatedly, am not commenting on t'other post so as not to get spoiled. Was just wondering, do you have episodes which I could, ahem, borrow, next time I visit? The high praise of 'Iona likes this' won out over 'but so do my family' (oh so teenage). <3

Ahaha! Oh bless you. Of course, yes, you can have the whole lot when you come round next, or I'll send you some on discs over the weekend if you prefer. It's a lovely perfect delightful show, I think you'll like it despite the lack of spaceships. :)
