-in case you were wondering why Cecil is an adorable Marxist? That's because Comrade Qureishi, the radio jockey from Tere Bin Laden I've enlisted for him, is... well, he's opposed to workers' alienation from the means of production. Also quite adorable. (Tere Bin Laden is probably both the worst and most delightful and warm-hearted film you're likely to see this week or month or year; Qureishi is played by Rahul Singh, an Indian film and TV actor.)

-Dana, of course, is played by her voice actor, the divine Jasika Nicole.

Oh my gosh, this is so beautiful! Such a sense of yearning, and of Dana's past and her fear and her toughness and spirit. I know she'll make it, when I watch this.

This is beautiful and evocative. I love the feet in boots stepping forward -- I know it doesn't mean much without context, but with context it's such a lovely reference to Dana's exploration.
