raven: [hello my name is] and a silhouette image of a raven (ds9 - kira in green)

I am not signing up for [livejournal.com profile] purimgifts this year; not that I don't think it's a great idea, it's just something about the format doesn't work for me. (No, I don't know why; I could write 3000 words as a single ficathon fic, but three stories of 300 words is apparently beyond me, witness last year when I wrote all of them in the last two hours before the deadline.)

But today is a quiet Saturday, so if you want 300 words on something, comment with fandom and prompt. I'm in the mood for Star Trek, but anything is good.

No, I never do get through all the requests when I do this! But it is absolutely NOT PERSONAL when I don't. Feel free to keep asking.

Star Trek XI: What a crewmember brought with them on the Enterprise, and something they knew it was time to leave behind.

Because I am early in on finally watching ALL of Deep Space Nine and thus remembering how much I love Kira with every part of my being....something about Kira! Kira and Odo, Kira and Sisko, Kira and Dax, Kira and Bashir, Kira and O'Brien, Kira and Quark...something about her past or how she ended up in DS9 (odds are I'm just missing that bit of canon...) or her meeting up with Ensign Ro or or or

KIRA! *ahem*

You know, I have just finished watching "Body Parts", the episode where Kira ends up carrying Miles' and Keiko's baby and thinking, hmmm, there should be fic about Kira. Excellent timing!

Spock and Bones (TOS or AOS): "I have come to the conclusion that our chances of locating the shuttle and/or the rest of the away team are markedly reduced." "You mean we're lost."

Dorks. This kind (http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-ash1/v249/71/29/36806947/n36806947_36705891_7142.jpg). Prompt: "I'm not a coward: I've just never been tested".

ETA: Bonus points if you can do it in the most OTT cod-Tolkien voice possible.

My dear, I may have to demur on grounds of never having read any Tolkien. (I know, I know.) Anything else you would like?

Aww, pants! I don't know why I keep forgetting that: am sorry, love.

In that case, I give you one I've been meaning to write myself:

HP: Post-canon: "Unto the seventh generation".

Or, or, or, Lashings RPF! Although that may be too much to ask of anyone...
