Jehovah's Witnesses
Sep. 22nd, 2002 11:35 pmA few thoughts and observations:
Firstly, Pedar has been talking about going to San Francisco next year. Therefore I have a statement to make. My birth certificate and LJ profile proclaim my birthday to be the twentieth of January, next year, it shall also be the twentieth of July. Seeing as how my actual birthday will be so thoroughly sucky-to-the-core, I think I should have another one.
Secondly, a story Pedar told me. Years ago, before I was born, he delivered a baby who was dangerously ill and needed a blood transfusion. The baby's parents were Jehovah's Witnesses - but in order to save the baby's life, they went ahead and gave it the blood. When the parents found out, they left - leaving the baby behind. They had to give it away for adoption.
And one more thing - Pedar is going to London tomorrow, and won't be back until Friday. Who the hell am I going to talk to?
