Dear internets: I have swine flu.

(If I do not have swine flu, I have something really rather similar; my head hurts, my joints hurt, standing up involves at least an hour's solid premeditation and all the liquid in my body has settled in my left ear, etc.)

All is woe, etc. shimgray has decided that he's probably been infected anyway - he is sneezing rather more than usual - and has been bringing me tea and finding my glasses for me and stopping me from dying in the shower and generally being the paragon of virtue that he usually is.

Urgh. I return to loving embrace of bed.

I also had the piggysniffles, commonly known in these parts as the nerd flu / H1Nerd1 or the PAX pox, seeing as spread like wildfire at the Penny Arcade Expo. I got through it all right, but I was pretty flattened for about a week -- expect to be tired even when the symptoms settle down, and take advantage of that bed's loving embrace. (...which sounded very wrong indeed.)
