Harriet the kitten

Shush, everyone. We have a tiny wee bitty kitty asleep on our sofa. She came home with us tonight, mewed all the way home, piteously, then had a saucer of milk and consented to being cuddled.

Here she is:



Our whiteboard in the kitchen says "The Mousehole welcomes our new feline overlord". She purrs like an outboard motor, and looks adorably out of her box at us all, and we are all utterly, stupidly, irredeemably smitten.

She is highly adorable! My Mother wants a silver tabby kitten after our current cats are gone. I would love a kitten that looks like a wildcat, a girl I know has one but they paid a ridiculous amount for her.

Awww, she's lovely! Do you feel as though you now have some understanding of what it's like to be the mother of a newborn baby (except more, because kittens are actually cute and squeak instead of scream and can use a litter tray)? How old is she? How much are you feeding her? Go to the vet at the top of Iffley Road (Bartholomew, I think)- they're really nice and rehomed my rat for free even though that's not really a vet issue. We should have a Kitten Owners' Club, and be smug.
