Recently I spent quite a while online trying to find the character name of the main Bolivian musician for the purposes of a fic I will never finish, and/or the names of any of the actors playing the musicians, and I was not able to on IMDB or anywhere else. I find this very curious.

Lol.. Did u say that because it's one of the biggest departments or because it's a doss subject? ;)
But seriously, how are English students viewed? Is it seen as doss subject, and do they get employed relatively quickly after they graduate? I am so torn. Still debating between English, PPE or straight Phil at Cambridge. Bristol has English & Phil which sounds amazing and totally my thing.

Anyway thanks a lot, I'll be there for sure just need to sort out dates. Do you have your Easter holiday dates handy by any chance?

Nope, I said that because everyone in the world does indeed do English. All my friends seem to. I'm not entirely sure what they tend to do after graduation - but they're generally viewed like any other arts subject. (No subject is really a "doss" subject - I mean, if you're a PPEist or a medic you do have lots of work, but that's true to some extent for all subjects.) And an Oxford degree is probably always a good thing to have, regardless of what subject it's in.

Hilary term is 13th January - 8th March, and Trinity is 20th April - 14th June, but there's a good chance I'll be in Oxford for a week before April 20th.
