1. I am in London, I have a job as respectable member of society at Vaguely Notable Law Firm, am bloody terrified;

2. I have no internet;

3. Neither do [livejournal.com profile] jacinthsong and [livejournal.com profile] shimgray, which suggests the taking of co-dependency to a whole new level;

4. There is no number four;

5. We are not mentioning the F-word;

6. Do not have to work weekend! Am, therefore, going to Oxford on Friday night and thank god for that;

7. New Doctor Who this week, hurrah for that too;

8. [livejournal.com profile] remixredux08 is killing me slowly;

9. This is a very uninteresting post. Much love to all, see some of you soon, I am going to eat large quantities of strawberry digestives.

As someone who also works at a vaguely notable law firm in London, I am curious!

Drinks, perhaps? At some point while you're in London?

Strawberry digestives?! What are these crazy things of which I have not heard?

Hurrah for Oxford and Who and all such good things. Internship is also a good thing, I hope, despite terror? *hugs*

*cliiiiiiiing* Leigh, I don't wanna real job, I want to live on a fannish hippie commune in West Virginia.

Thank you, dear. :) and hurrah, hurrah for finishing of thesis!

Fortunately, in ten years when I'm broke and unemployed, my West Virginia commune will be in full swing. We'll save a room for you. (Miraculously, we will have a house despite poverty and unemployment. You can do that in WV.)

*huuuugs* I'm sure you're doing brilliantly. Where are you living? Have they housed you?

Am living in wee student room that belongs to LSE, which I can afford to do because for the first time in my entire life I'm GETTING PAID. It's not too bad, to be honest. It's just quite hard doing an unfamiliar job and trying to revise for Finals in the evenings when I'm not up north or in Oxford and thus don't have people around me that I know.

Let us move to WV haste-post-haste. We can keep chickens. It will be awesome. :)

Oh, yes, please. (Come watch DW!) It might mitigate the terror. :) Seriously, thank you for your advice, it's stood me in good stead so far.

Alas, I have Who related plans with ChCh Sophie already, but am free otherwise... admittedly will have had two teeth ripped out on Friday, so Sunday may be better, but I'm not actually doing anything otherwise so can fit round you :)

I'm glad it's helped so far :) You'll be fine. I'm dying to know what they've got you doing! *is law geek*

I just re-read (for like the 9th time) your story At The Time of Writing (http://community.livejournal.com/ds_flashfiction/577573.html) again and realized with great shock and guilt that I had never commented. Then I commented, only to realize that the comment was going to go to [livejournal.com profile] sageness rather than yourself... argh. So I'll just copy & paste here because I really wanted you to see it and don't know how much you re-visit your entries in old fic challenges:

I realized -- an egregious omission! -- that I never commented on this and it is so. fucking. amazing. Wondrously creative, and so ominous, in the dry collection of evidence, lists, transcripts, memos, letters, journal excerpts, answering machine messages, that piles up slowly and packs such an incredible punch by the end you're just wrung out. It's just so incredibly original and heart breaking as you puzzle out -- you can see where it's going -- what happens to Fraser. It intrigues you, and you get caught up, and you can't stop reading until it pretty much rips your heart out. Astounding.
