Note to self: coffee, paracetamol and diazepam do not a healthy diet make. Oh, ye gods, I have a problem. (Mum said this as though it were profound. "I think you have a problem!"

"Yes," I said, "and when I'm asked how long I've had it, I can say, twenty years, eleven months, one week."

She conceded. There's a meme going round in which you're asked to specify if you'd been on a commercial airline before you were sixteen years old. I was on a long-haul flight before I was sixteen weeks old - immigrant parents, it happens - and apparently my insomniac brain then was as bad as it is now, my poor poor mother. Jet-lag's all very well, but there's only so much you can blame on it and I'm now sleep-deprived enough to be hallucinating.)

Anyway. Am back in Oxford in about twelve hours, have done no packing, hope very much not to be loopy when I arrive but doubt this. See y'all on the flipside.

Diazepam. I've heard good things.

*laughs* It's probably illegal or something to dig them out of the medicine cupboard.

But just imagine the money you could make selling an all-in-one pill from them.

I had to look up the US trade name of diazepam, and now, well, yes.

(personally I am fond of energy drinks and clonazepam.)

*hugs*

And... oh valium. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. (i.e. how soon can I get some more from Oxford!doctor...?)

I had the same problem. Or rather, my mother did. She still complains about it.

I hope your sleep schedule balances out soon. I'll be jet-lagging in a couple of days. Feeling your pain. Not looking forward to it.

Also, saw a picture of Sen. Clinton in NH in the paper today. Scanned the background for you before I realized that this was ridiculous as 1: you have already left the country and 2: NH = not tiny. Made me smile, though.
