I may not be around much in the near - and dear god, I hope it's only near - future. Last night my beloved laptop decided it just didn't want to live any more, and ARRRRGH, I don't really know what to do about it save cry.

Anyway. Yep, will check email in SSL and such places, but to all extents and purposes am Not Here.

Needless to say, I am really ready for this week to stop sucking now, kthxbai.

I have my old laptop currently sitting in its bag on the far side of the room - I stopped using it because of delightful cooling problems, but firing it up a little while ago it seemed to have returned to the land of the living.

I'm off to London soonish, but I can clean the junk off it and get it to you tomorrow if you'd like - I can't promise it'll work for more than an hour or so at a time, but it might be better than nothing.
