I'm going to go and hide under a rock in the Parks and never come out, ever.

eta: Mum says come home for the weekend. Not sure about this...

eta2: Mum is usually right. Will go, I think. Not that you are all not lovely lovely people - Claire just stomped around my room yelling about the fucking American bastards, which made me feel slightly better - but yeah. Home. Back on Monday.

Oh, babe. If something's worth doing, it's worth trying for again. And you have plenty of other options in the meantime. Want real-life cuddles?

:hugs: Lots and lots of people take it again.

I don't what you got, but remember that about a a 152ish is average and a about 165 puts you in the top ten percent and could get you a scholarship at lots of schools.

Don't let the LSAC bastards get to you! It's a test, like the SATs, designed for people who have been in American education their whole lives, and therefore have a lot of multiple choice practice. Not all law schools, too, give them as much weight as others. My last school was a place where most people got decent grades, but mediocre LSAT scores (myself included). I actually took the damn test twice because I was really disappointed with my first score.

So yeah, I don't know what you got, but whatever it was, don't think for a second that it can prevent you from doing what you want to do. Despite its reputation, the LSATs are not the end-all-be-all of law school applications.

Going to American schools your whole life doesn't prepare you any better for standardized testing either. We Yanks tear our hair out at them too! Tests like the SAT/LSAT/GMAT etc. are specifically designed to be stressful, tricky and absolutely nothing like any kind of test you've had in school, multiple choice or not (and doesn't the LSAT also include an essay section?) They're supposed to predict how well you're going to do in law school or wherever, but really all they test is how well you take that kind of test! It's a bunch of BS. People who score high on those kinds of exams have merely figured out the trick on how to do them.

But I agree that the score doesn't mean you will or won't get into a good school, and you can always take it over. Schools use it to weed applicants out, but it's only one part of the whole application. Just think of this one as a learning experience, and DON'T let it get you down!! *hugs*

Sweetie, of course your mother is right (about this, anyway). Go home, feel better, and, with the greatest of affection for my American friends, let the Yanks go fuck themselves, you're too good for them and if they don't see it, it's their loss.

There is something nice for you in the post. Well. Depends on your definition of 'nice'. And when I say 'in the post' I mean 'it's all packed and ready but I've lost your address.'

*kicks LSAT people for you*

Oh and obviously the above was a hint to send me your address? I hjave a feeling that the mess that is the post office atm means that if you don't put a postcode on, they will use your package to burn in the oil cans or something.

Do you want me to go kill them? Really, I will track them down, I will find their headquarters and KILL THE BASTARDS.

*hugs hugs hugs* You are so, so smart. Everyone who has ever interacted with you knows that. If the LSAT doesn't reflect them, then it's the LSAT's failing, seriously.
