How do you feel about Chinese food? There's Our Place Shanghai Tea Garden at 141 E 55th St (between Third and Lexington), which is right down the block from where I work. I've never eaten there, but they have another restaurant near my apartment where I eat all the time.

I usually get out of work at 5:30(ish), so you want to meet at 5:45pm?

I swear, after tonight I will stop spamming you, because I know you have better things to do than pay attention to the Internet right now--you are, after all, in New York! Eat a hot dog for me. Or, you know, something palatable.

I just ate another cinnamon danish the size of Connecticut. And this time I actually ate all of it. My arteries will be contacting their union soon, I'm sure.

Oh my god, SO BIG. VISIBLE FROM SPACE. I just ate undercooked buffalo wings and overcooked corn, and they didn't quite measure up to spicy Thai and cheap Italian and gin, or even cream-cheese-sandwich bagels. And by "didn't quite measure up" I mean that at the end of the meal, I took a fork and nearly put out my eyes in despair.

What did you do today? What are you doing tomorrow? Has the naked German woman continued stalking you? Come, I must live vicariously through you now!

Urgh. Undercooked buffallo wings and overcooked corn. Food poisoning in a can. Urgh. I ate yet another cream cheese bagel yesterday, and more fresh fruit than is produced in a year. My diet is getting steadily more ascetic.

Yesterday I went to MOMA, which was fabulous, and the Museum of Sex was pretty damn awesome (the gift shop was of joy, too) and do your roommates engage in any colourful practises involving bridles? Because that would be a possibility.

Naked German woman has not appeared, but they have started demolishing the hostel and maybe that's why she's not in evidence. (Seriously. Woke up this morning at seven to the ominously close sounds of breaking rubble. Oh, my. I need to go outside and check out exactly what hit the dust.)
