Snow! Snow, snow, wonderful snow. And it's so good to be home in time for it; I got out of bed and promptly bounced outside. Equipped with camera and a multitude of layers, Pedar and I went on that not hitherto considered dangerous trip to get a newspaper, and I swear, we considered turning back after twenty minutes. But we persevered, driving snow and howling wind notwithstanding, and have spent the rest of the day with the newspaper. At least, Pedar has; I have spent it unashamedly messing about online and sifting through my Hilary photos. On that note, having given you Balliol under snow, I give you Formby Point under snow:
The view from my bedroom window:

Down in the garden:

Out on the great newspaper trail:

Pedar wanted me there for the scale factor:

And, lastly, the view from the side of the house, looking west:

It's beautiful out there still, if very, very cold. And I'm enjoying my laziness thoroughly. Still haven't watched Life On Mars; that's next on the agenda.

on 2006-03-12 05:01 pm (UTC)Laziness ought to be enjoyed when one has the opportunity. I fully intend to make the most of it once I'm back home and have no lab report or concert to worry about.
