ravenWell, I'm back. It always takes a while for the awkwardness to wear off when you meet someone for the first time in ages, but I had a good time. Em bought the sheet music to Dido's album No Angel - I shall borrow it, but I don't know if I'll ever actually be able to play it.
We didn't actually go into any shops, though we did go to Quiggins, and I went braclet shopping. For as some wise person has said, when the going gets tough, the tough go shopping. I got two little wooden bracelets, one red wooden one, kinda like the one Stalker has, and then a red cuff one. Following that, went to Woodstock, where I found a newspaper article on the counter about the lease of the land Quiggins is built on - they still want to close it down, despite the fact the lease has thirty five years to go. The fucking morons at the council apparenty can't count.
There was a petition book there, which I wrote in and signed - even Em thought it was awful, and she's only ever been there with me!
Strange thing - the entry above mine was signed "Rola Williams." Hmmmmm.... how many people are there in and around Liverpool with that name?
That was that, really - we sat on a bench and talked for ages, and agreed to go to Southport on Thursday, and rent Cruel Intentions, and basically do what we do, and discuss SG-5!
I still can't believe we're going - and it's the last one in Britain, Wolf say, so we're doubly lucky. It should be amazing - and I'll get to meet so many people in the flesh!
