In other news, I'm wet and cold and going through one of those I-shouldn't-be-here phases. Also, Logic has gone beyond taking over my life. I'm reading, writing, thinking and dreaming about it and would love for it to stop now, please.

I've no doubt I'll be more cheerful in the evening, as I'm going out for coffee with wadiekin, um, now. Eeek.

She says to tell you that yes, she did, and they were very helpful there. She was going to take Jack with her, to give his opinion, but he unexpectedly contracted a rare strain of Ebola and had to stay at home. She also says you should know all this, she wrote you a letter, and she has a suspicion her delivery person is an idiot who keeps forgetting to buy stamps.

Oh, yes, please. Sun! Sea! Gently waving palm trees! The freedom to be as illogical as I want to be!

Well, I wouldn't like to speak ill of the dead. Let's say that I was perhaps fonder of him than I was of some of the others; he had more bounce and youth about him than I'd had for some time. I still have the Chucks, before you ask. I don't wear them very often any more, partly because my feet are too small but mostly because they belonged to him.

But he's still around, a little bit. When Rose tells me I'm acting butch, that's probably him. :) Now, I hope that answered your question, because I must be off. Worlds to save and all of that.

For Rodney in "Love Story": do you put up with all of Daniel's bullshit just for the little moments of inner revelation he gives, like that moment in your bed?

Perhaps, if I really wanted to and had the energy, I'd make a fresh start, leave Daniel and try for a life with someone less difficult. But Daniel, bless him, stays with you like smoke in your clothes. Oxford's a small place, anyway; I'd always be running into him in flagrante delicto in the toilets at Park End. That exhibitionist streak, another reason to love him.

Yeah, I put up with him, because it's worth it. Most of the time.
