This one, on the other hand, is my sitting-at-home-trying-to-be-upbeat playlist.

Something Corporate - Globes and Maps

Tom McRae - I Ain't Scared of Lightning

The Cranberries - Linger

Tori Amos - I Don't Like Mondays (Boomtown Rats cover)

Indigo Girls - Land of Canaan (live)

OK Go - The Fix Is In

All depressing except the last. Maybe I should start listening to better music, there's a plan. Anyway, please enjoy. Same drill as last time.

'I don't like mondays' is a particular favourite of mine, depressing as it is i always find myself singing and swaying to it!! However it has been slightly ruined for me after Bethan had it on repeat constantly all the way to Wales and back a few weeks ago. Overload!!

It's a beautiful version, and I wouldn't want it ruined for me. Poor you with the overload!

[Out of interest - which uni are you bound for?]

Pfffft, happy music is overrated. *hugs huge and growing collection of Smiths and Manics albums/mp3s* Though you could do worse than listen to depressing indie music covered as CHIRPY LOUNGE MUSIC (http://s49.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1KJ6Y95ME5HUU2VT81ECXMA7HX). I worship.

(Took Tori, Cranberries and Indigo Girls. Muchos gracias.)

Oh very indeed, veyr sarcastic and darkly humourous. Plus my icon is Thelma, she's the lesbian ghost who basically helps the main character Cassie out a lot and flirts with every female ghost. She's played by the girl who sued to be in As if so I knew her immediately. She RULES.
There's femmeslash out the wazoo and cool outfits *new character is some sort of assassin woman donning a LOT of leather* so yeah I'd watch it! I've already told Miranda to.

!!! I heard "Linger" in a little restaurant in DC over the summer and had it stuck in my head for days, but I couldn't remember enough of the lyrics to Google it. You are my new hero.

Not right now, because I'm in the process of switching computers. Soon though, thank you.

Also, do you want us all to meet up at some point before you go away? Because that'll have to be soon.
