I'm sitting at home, moping and feeling blue, so this is my sitting-at-home-moping-and-feeling-blue playlist:

Something Corporate - Cavanaugh Park

Goo Goo Dolls - Girl Right Next To Me (acoustic)

Damien Rice - The Blower's Daughter

Nirvana - On A Plain

Tom McRae - A Day Like Today

Travis - Re-offender

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Love Burns

They're all very depressing, but please do enjoy. Comment and that way I'll know when the downloads die.

Also, if anyone has any of these, I'd much appreciate it:

The Killers - Smile Like You Mean It
Kaiser Chiefs - Oh My God

James Blunt - Goodbye My Lover
Nightwish - Nemo

Lots of people went off to university today. Good luck and much love to you all.

And watch me mope.

Thank you for the songs.
It's always sad when everyone leaves home.

"Smile Like You Mean It" and "Nemo" should be winging their way into your inbox now. File-sharing? Don't ask, don't tell.

Off to download the songs I don't have from you. :)

I like the ones I've listened to so far, but I was having a bit of a night myself and mostly only listened to "Brace Yourself" on repeat.

I love the Damien Rice and the BRMC. Thank you so so much. They're fitting my mood right now, pretty much.

I think you should be dragged away from Something corporate as speaking as a fellow fan that song is rather sad lol.

It is, isn't it? Ever heard Caldecott Tunnel? Their most depressing song, that one.

Thanks very much; I love the Kaiser Chiefs.

Ooh, Tom McRae is great. I'm not usually into that type of music, but I saw him supporting Tori Amos this year and he was really amazing live. And he wrote an article in the Observer about famine and poverty in Africa -- seems like a cool guy.

Would have sent you the Killers & Kaiser Chiefs, but seems you're sorted already :)

There's one song by him - Mermaid Blues - that expresses my love for the man. I should upload it.

Thanks. :)

Thankyou! I love collecting music from people. Sorry I don't have any of the songs you requested. It is very sad that people have gone, but we shall soon be embarking on that exciting journey! And then before you know it it will be Christmas and everyone will be at home again.

I've been abandoned too! :( *Wanders off to watch Stargate and BSG that, by sods law, all finished downloading at exactly the same time in the middle of the night*

Hey! Do you want to meet up and gripe about it? I'm free as a bird tomorrow and Tuesday (packing starts in earnest after that). You doing anything? And how's the puppy?

The puppy's very cute and adorable but he's a monster now. He bites my arms and ripped a hole in one of my tops. And then peed on the doormat two minutes after I took him out. Grr.

I better go and see mum about whether I am free (I don't really have anything to do but if she wants to go somewhere I have to look after Quin), will get back to you! Would love to meet up! :)

I'm still waiting for the sodding gas-man (groan), but I'm hoping he should be here by twelve or one. (Should be twelve, but I don't trust these people.) Um, I don't really know! We could have a late lunch in Liverpool, is one idea. What do you think?

Sounds good to me! Let me know when the gas man comes. Am off to watch Lost in the kitchen with mum on the laptop (I caved and started downloading them), the internet connection is a bit dodgy in there but it usually works. :)

The gas man, he cometh! Have texted with details, but should be in Liverpool at one fifteen.
