Whoever just gave me the extra icons, thank you very much. It's very sweet of you, and I don't really deserve spontaneous gifts. On that note, I only had ten icon slots filled anyway and I've meant to post this for a while. Can all you lovely people rec me icon-makers and icons (and self-pimp liek woah, naturally)? Fandom icons are fab, but I'm also after still life icons - inanimate objects and suchlike - to go with. Thank you, anonymous benefactor!

I have to go out now, and I have to get the bus. I have no idea how one gets buses. Trains are such infinitely more sensible things. So I will just leave with a pimp for dw_recs. taraljc has started it up for Doctor Who fic recs of all sorts, all Doctors and companions, and I'm co-modding. Go forth and rec, you know you want to. And I'm quite excited about the possibility of old-skool recs, too.

And I hope the library folk are having a good day at school.

I have over 1,000 icons here (http://www.greatestjournal.com/users/maryavatar/). The early ones are drek, and the later ones are mostly fandom, but there's a lot of miscellaneous stuff in the middle :)

Hmm, icon-makers. For fandom stuff, I'd suggest echac, and anniesj has some neat dw ones. Non-fandom stuff, I like dropsofsunshine (if you scroll down enough you'll find some still-lifey stuff), and lots of various goodness at grrliz_icons.

Indeedness, the library flooded so Mrs.Barry took a picture and has put it up avec annotations such as "rogue bucket" and "workmans cup"
My class have a cd player, they're listening to 50 cent a lot...or some other rapper they seem to blur into one- convo this afternoon.
