I have a brand new internet service provider. AOL are making it very difficult for me to cancel the subscription - the computer "crashes" every time I reach the crucial point, but I don't care, I don't care, because in less than twenty hours, my broadband connection will be activated, and then I get twenty-four hour, 5000kbps internet access, and I am just a little bit excited about it.
Trillian, Getright, and the Livejournal client should all work, I think, but I'll probably have to reinstall them or something.
I don't know if I'm the only one, but when the computer is connected to the internet, I always feel that through my fingers on the keyboard, I'm connected to the whole world and everything in it, and the whole world is connected to me. I get the feeling that I am a part of something bigger, like the Borg's hive mind - many beings, one mind, all knowing, all seeing, connected and intertwined with everything there is.
Maybe that's why I'm so excited about this.
Or maybe I'm being delusional.

You, too? The World must be part of that anti-slash mob that is after Aimee for writing, and me for reading. The World is a big organization, so you can never tell if the ones you call friend are in it or not.

The anti-slash mob has outposts everywhere. Even in the innocent incarnation that is my best friend (ahem - chanandlerbong).
