Picture trail

Quite often, I talk about Formby Point and the red squirrel nature reserve. Unsurprisngly - I mean, I live here, see them every time I pass a window, and am unashamedly in love with the place and how beautiful it is. Accordingly, out on the beach this afternoon, I took the digital camera and went on a sort of picture trail. A little camwhorish, but what the hell.

Firstly, Formby Point itself. I've always thought that's what the name refers to, the last piece of land before it falls into the sea, but I may be wrong.



That's me, looking happy, and that's Dadu in the background. The landscape is the important part.

In the pinewoods, this time. Unfortunately for all, we didn't catch any squirrels in shot.

This rather strange picture is of my house. Looking at it, no wonder people get lost coming here.



And enough. I think I've got the camwhore out of my system for a time. I actually prefer the winter, when it looks very different and I get sand in my ears from the wind.

Aw, that would've been brill. It was the first day of the biol trip (Monday 5th, maybe?), something to do with sand dune ecology i believe, wasn't paying much attention, it was far too nice a day!

Oh, they're beautiful! I wish i could get some pics of the nature reserve up the road, dad still hasn't fixed my bleedin camera!
