Nothing is happening lately at all, and I don't know what to do with myself. Half term is coming up soon, which is good; purplerainbow and I are going shopping. Yes, we are. I have no money but feel committed to the idea of retail therapy. In the meantime, Colleen went to Washington DC today, which is rather sad. Not for her - she's going to have the time of her life - but for everyone else. Yesterday was Wednesday, and I found myself almost expecting a visit from our very own Lesbian Odd Couple. They didn't appear. Sigh.

My iPod refuses to work. I am peeved. It's just sitting on my desk, looking at me while my hard disk fills up with music and gets slower and slower. Blah.

Actually, blah in general. Maybe I shouldn't update again until something, you know, happens.

And to stop this from being totally pointless, a rec - Demography by jmtorres. An instant classic in the "make a funny point in five hundred words" genre. I have to admit to wondering why it was a PegB story, until I reached the punchline. Hee. Perfect.

And this is me going away and taking my utter boringness with me. Blah.

It went quite well-- the train there was fine, the open day was interesting, it was only the train home which was hopelessly delayed. I have to sort stuff out now, but we can do a Sunday morning telephone call if that suits you. I've got plenty to say! (Not least of which is, watch SG-1 on the repeat today and save me from having to spoil you.)

Hey, sorry about the lack of random visits. Haven't seen Colleen since last Sunday, which is very sad etc. and as such couldn't really find an excuse to show up.
