A few fandom things, because real life is too boring to even contemplate. I'm serious. Module 5. Module 5. Less than twenty-four hours after the module 4 exam, and they're off again. Excuse me while I find it hard to care.

The other thing that worries me at the moment is the meme currently circulating through my flist, which is basically a series of questions about your last year in school. Blah. If I filled out that meme, the answer to the first question would be 2004-2005, and so I am feeling uncomfortably young.

Nottingham rejected me. Am undecided as to whether or not this bothers me. This leaves me now with two conditional offers, two calls to interview, one rejection and one total lack of communication.

And look, I'm talking about real life whether I want to or not. On to fandom.

Specifically, Stargate fandom. Sky one are showing season one again, and I'm loving it. I'd genuinely forgotten how damn good it was back at that point; clever, witty, occasionally with something real to say, complete with woobie!Daniel. My world is complete. More than one person has commented on this icon, so here it is again. Five years on, I still adore floppyhair!Daniel.

[Also, I was watching Fire and Water a couple of days ago. Pedar came in at the bit where they show us Daniel's memorial service and said, quite plaintively, "How can he not be dead yet?"

Well, it amused me.]

I signed up for remixredux, which is probably my favourite fandom event (yes, better than yuletide, and this is me shamelessly pimping it. Sign up, because I made the banner it is of the fun.
