What have I learnt while being [livejournal.com profile] hownovel?

1. People ship Pansy/Ron. There is a community. Seriously. [livejournal.com profile] pansyxron.

2. Snape's birthday is January 9th. Apparently there were people laying bets on him being a Capricorn, because it fits in with canonicalbastard!Snape.

(I'm a Capricorn. Can you tell?)

3. My flist is not the only place people rave about Lost. I still have no idea what it is, exactly. One day I will find time to actually watch it.

4. [livejournal.com profile] notapipe wants to go to Jesus College. Because... well, because. I feel moved to say, "Oh, the humanity."

5.[livejournal.com profile] botherd is doing Maths AS today (therefore, much cleverer than me) and kinda cool.

6. [livejournal.com profile] lessien is Teh Coolest Person ever. Not only does she have a [livejournal.com profile] shoebox_project mood theme, but she says things like "WHEE. JOY EXUBERANCE. ETC." and "OH HOLY MOTHER OF TINY PLASTIC FIGURINES."

7. People really like manga, don't they?

8. And anime.

9. But mostly manga.

10. My flist is a lot smaller than I thought it was. And there were some people on [livejournal.com profile] hownovel's with the little padlock on their entries, and there's me thinking, hmm, that's strange, and then the embarrassing realisation dawns on me that these are people on my friend-of list. Um, hi. Nice to meet you. I apologise from the bottom of my heart that I do not friend everyone who friends me, even though I actually do want to (I did in the beginning before it became unmanageable). You realise, of course, that if I had a flist the size of [livejournal.com profile] hownovel's I would go insane in short order.

In other news: failed Chemistry mock, am shortly to fail Biology, and am eating far too much chocolate than is good for me.

In yet other news, Pedar said: "So, you want a cake?"

"And presents I can rip the paper off of," I reminded him.

"Hmm."

It's a start.

2. Snape's birthday is January 9th. Apparently there were people laying bets on him being a Capricorn, because it fits in with canonicalbastard!Snape. (I'm a Capricorn. Can you tell?)

Maybe that explains why I like both you and Snape? (Though I'm not sending Snape a birthday present.)

In other news: failed Chemistry mock, am shortly to fail Biology, and am eating far too much chocolate than is good for me.

Failed failed, or got-a-lower-mark-than-you'd-like failed? Hugs, either way.

In yet other news, Pedar said: "So, you want a cake?" "And presents I can rip the paper off of," I reminded him.

(note to self: remember paper. next note to self: must send soonish, post is very unreliable)

I'm afraid I'm in a sickeningly good mood, despite having an exam tomorrow, so I won't talk for too long, I'll get annoying. (Short form: provisional mark: 60/60. Woo!)

*hugs* and talk to you.

*grins* Poor Snape. Although I didn't say that, he is a bastard.

Failed as in not technically failed as did not get E, but got D which is really not much better.

I'm glad to hear you're in a good mood. Always a cause for celebration. Regarding yesterday's non-arrived (growl) comment - tomorrow isn't so good, as I might not be home till late. Wednesday? I'll be home from two-ish.

Wednesday's okay. It'll probably be more evening-ish than afternoon-ish, since after my exam today and proper lessons (why is there no real study leave? grrr) Wednesday morning, I really ought to do cramming revision for Friday's exams; but 7ish-- or maybe a little later-- should be fine. If I haven't called by 7:30, my brother's probably dragged me into an argument, so call me me so I have an excuse to get out of it.

Jesus college! Haha... that was too good.

Livejournal is a funny thing. Or perhaps I am. I looked at [livejournal.com profile] lessien's journal (because you said she was So Cool) and saw the entry that says, "It never snows here," and thought, "She lives in Victoria." It didn't occur to me that there might be other places in the world that it rarely snows. It had to be Victoria. Why? Because [livejournal.com profile] treelinedgirl just posted about snow in Victoria. So I look at her user info and she's from Victoria. This is how I keep in touch with the world.

Hee! That's such a good example of how LJ is taking over all our lives. I thought I was bad for finding out about the tsunami on LJ, but I can't have been the only one.
