ravenWent to bed early last night. Didn't sleep, natch. I slept through my alarm in the morning, and got up to see a world of water. I believe it may be something to do with the equinox, but it's currently raining on an epic scale. Torrents of water were plummeting past the window, and I went to school hidden under my hood looking more vampish than ever.
I was only in school for the morning. More Chemistry, in which I made a mess of equilibria, which I find amazing because they're really a simple concept that I am unable to grasp. To reiterate what I have been told many times today, an equilibrium constant equals the product of the partial pressure of the products (or something else equally alliterative) divided by the product of the partial pressure of the reactants. It is the easiest thing in the world and I can't do it.
Moving on. There was a library committee meeting this morning as well, sans Fidan who was stuck on a bus in Ormskirk, and I have to help out on open day. The only good point about this is at least I'll be in my own area of expertise. It's not like I've been conscripted by the Chemistry department or something - and I know I did help out with Workshop Day, but I was teaching Year Fives then, which wasn't so awful. "What is a chemical reaction?" and suchlike.
One of my many mentors was after me today to fill in my Oxford application at all costs. I will. I will. I just didn't want to when I'm out of my head, as I still am, more or less, because that would seem like a bad thing.
I came home at about half one, worked solidly for three hours, have nowhere near finished everything I needed to do, and I think I might go to bed now. It's a quarter to six. I may possibly be losing my mind, although how I'd tell the difference at this stage is a matter to be considered.
Well. Bored now.
