GIP, with thanks to [livejournal.com profile] arianwen who apparently has nabbed every pretty Lupin-icon ever. This one just stood out for the sheer angst. Tragedy.

I am terrified about my exams. Fidan called this afternoon. With the idiocy born of politeness, I asked, "So, how much revision are you doing?"

"Oh, I'm aiming for ten hours a day."

I was staring disconsolately out of the window for a long time, watching the birds soaring into the pines. Magpies and crows, I think. I'm going to fail my exams.

I got an email from Pedar today. I can count the number of times he's emailed me on one hand, so I feel the need to quote it:

"Hello, princess. Last day today. It has been a good visit, but it would have been much better with you. All the best for your exams. Do you need any help in getting up in the morning?"

Well, it made me smile. It says a lot in a few words.

I'm tired but I don't want to go to bed. I really don't.

Oh, a couple more things about PoA:

I saw Sir Cadogan! He was in a full suit of armour, and I suspected I'd imagined it, but Simon said later that he saw him too.

Also, I liked the nod to OotP when Dumbledore is talking about his name: "It's a very long name." It is, if I remember rightly, Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. Which has always amused me.

And yeah... that's it. I ought to write something, or read something, or go to bed, or something.

Did you get my e-mail (Saturday, I think)? (I am so very paranoid.)

Yes, I did. A reply is forthcoming, probably once Biology is over as I am currently embroiled in doom and despair and transgenic organisms.

In your own time, my dear. Escape the doom, despair and transorganic genisms first.

(Some time, I should ask when your other exams are. Mine aren't until Friday, but I know you have more and different to me.)

Yeah, sir Cadogan is definitely in the movie. I wonder if they made a scene where he actually gets to talk and then cut it...It's be ubber-cool.

And as for your exams: *long long hugs* Don't worry because you're not revising all day long like your friend. I've gone through that too, feeling like shit because I couldn't bring myself to slave on them, and in the end, I got about the same results. Just as I never wrote as long essays as everyone else, and generally got better grades. :) Don't judge your work-merits compared to others. It's never that simple.

I think they did, yes. I loved Dawn French as the Fat Lady - Sir Cadogan would have been even funnier.

Awww, long long hugs. Thank you. Am feeling slightly better today. Hopefully it will work out.

Fidan will probably end up having a nervous breakdown. I get roughly 6 hours of revision in a day - when you include the fact that about two hours of them are Officially Designated Breaks.

The results will be the same. Honestly.

We need to go again so someone can point Sir Cadogan out to me!

And finally... I liked Dumbledore. He was Crazy!Dumbledore, and I liked that...
