Three mocks tomorrow. Three. Three.

Excuse me for asking, are they kidding? I've looked in cursory fashion at organic chemistry and in less cursory fashion at physiology and transport, and haven't touched Politics (political parties versus pressure groups). I am so tired. I can't face more revision. I'm very tempted to not bother at all and write off the cuff.

Mrs Miller asked me today, "Are you on strike from long-answer questions?"

Apparently in an unconscious attempt to cope, I have ignored any question worth more than seven marks in this week's batch of past papers. I wasn't feeling so fabulous this afternoon. I was perched on the bench in front of Rola and Fidan, who were trying to teach me the hydrolysis of epoxyethane, with little success. (All I can remember is the fact it reacts to make ethene-1,2-diol, which can be used to make antifreeze, which is relevant but not exactly useful.)

In other news, Becca came in this morning having had an encounter over the weekend with a guy at the pub. His name's Nick. He's a boxer. Probably only apestaartje is enough of a Friends fan to get the joke, but I yelled out, "Nick the boxer!"

(It's the episode where Joey teaches acting classes, and when one of his students is trying out for the same part as him (the part of Nick the boxer!), he tells him to play it gay.)

We all found it very amusing until Becca found it had all been an alcohol-fuelled mistake - his name is actually Chris. Chris the boxer doesn't have the same ring to it.

That did amuse me, but I am avoiding people. I have no-one left with whom I have anything in common - it makes me wonder how I survived this long, but maybe I'm just bored.

Ugh, I can definitely sympathize. This week I only have one exam a day, for which I am INFINITELY grateful, but last week I had two to three each day, and it was crazed. You can make it, though. Pack chocolate-- you've said the chocolate over there is better than what we get here, so you should be fine. ;) Good luck.

I took your advice today and went into Biology chewing reflectively on Nestlé Double Cream, which probably negated some of my bad mood (and resulted in a few sticky fingerprints on the paper, but c'est la vie).
