The bad news

I have killed my net connection. No, really. I suppose technically Pedar and I both killed it. He's had this ongoing idea that we could somehow dispense with the necessity of moving the modem upstairs and downstairs all the time. So we got another one off eBay and tried to persaude both computers to share the connection. They responded by self-destructing, or something along those lines. I can't go online at home, so I'm having to update via email from school, which is not my favourite thing to do because people look over my shoulder.
Of course, this is the worst possible time for this to happen. The cliche!fic is finished, for one thing - and it's even been expertly and efficiently betaed by![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

Therefore, a few messages.
amchau - thank you so much. I even had a nice reply to all your comments typed up, which my computer then ate. In short, thank you, I'm glad you liked it, and Froot Loops are canon(!) I even had an idea for a potential co-writing project (inevitable, as they say). You are first on my list to email once the net goes back up (if it ever does).
gamesiplay - I can't count votes sans net connection, unfortunately, as my school runs under a totalitarian regime that prevents access to email. I even had another few categories written up to send you. I hate BT, I hate ADSL, etc. Love you.
