Well, I wasn't going to update. Then I realised that not only is it February the twenty-ninth and I won't get another chance to update on that date for four years, but I had in fact updated Remus's journal and not my own, which makes precious little sense.

February 29th is supposedly the day where women can propose. Well, [livejournal.com profile] hathy_col asked me to marry her. I said yes. We are eloping to Milton Keynes and bribing Craig Parker and Corin Nemec to act as witnesses, and will live happily after safe in the knowledge we made a Political Statement.

My English coursework, which I will have to do tomorrow, is going to be on the subject of gay rights. All hail me, etc. Have yet to decide on target audience, but it will probably be a pride rally. My parents are most likely going to be in San Francisco when this year's rally takes place... without me. This irritates me.

But, they've been being nice today. We went to the Trafford Centre. I got two things. One of them is very sensible - it's a black, hooded student-type duffel coat and I actually like it very much - and the other is less so. It's a top that's pink and glittery and has graffiti images of street signs and Marilyn Monroe on it. I love it.

And lastly, I may be going to Collectormania with [livejournal.com profile] hathy_col. Fingers crossed while I inform the parental units...

What does it do to make it student-type? And yey duffel coats! I want one but I can't find one which is really weird because they're a Belgian invention so you'd think you'd find them here. lol

Well, it doesn't do anything, but it just screams "Student!", ie no-one who isn't a student would wear it just because. If you saw it, you'd see what I mean.

"Have yet to decide on target audience, but it will probably be a pride rally."

That's right, because you're too chicken to address an audience full of people like me. *wicked grin*

*sighs* I would, but I don't want to have to come out myself. :)

Anyway, I thought you weren't one of the anti-gay league?

I'm not anti-gay, but I'm rather unsympathetic to their 'cause'. I believe the status quo is quite sufficient.
