Flushing toilets and democracy

I have spent the morning doing nothing.
That's something new.
Well... have washed hair. That's it. Have checked e-mail, checked mailing list messages, and now.... I am, for some reason, reading the manifesto for the British National Party. Actually, it's not for no reason - someone or other said, "Know thine enemy" and that is what I am attempting to do.
And I quote:

This year the BNP has WON council seats in Burnley. Britain is on the verge of a major political shift, but it's up to you to help make it happen. Get in touch with your local branch or with head office and do your bit. Join us and help the BNP to win back Britain for the British!

So, in other words, anyone who is not white/Anglo-Saxon/descended in the direct line from William the Conquerer isn't worthy of living on this rain-soaked, dank and depressing, not-really-very-special island.

There is even a young BNP section.

It claims to tell the "truth about Martin Luther King." Apparently the man plagiarised is dissertation, lied, cheated, "consorted with whores both black and white" and was a Communist with a sealed FBI file.
He was a Communist. That is true. But if the rest of it is true, I will do anything I am asked to, incuding "consorting with whores both black and white."
And the worrying thing is the tagline of the article - "and the truth will set you free," which is, I believe, what my comments links currently say.

This is the bit that really annoys me, written by a fifteen year old BNP fan:
White Europeans have a lot to be proud of as the creators of modern
civilisation.
Fuck you. The Ancient Egyptians, Chinese and Indians were civilised seven thousand years ago. They had flushing toilets and democracy when you were still eating raw meat off a dirt floor.

Is it right that police officer, trying to do their job, fear
arresting non-white criminals on the grounds of being branded Racist? Even
when it had been proven by government studies that non-whites are more
likely to commit a crime?

Excuse me? This is just such utter bullshit. I could try to be understanding and objective... but I won't. They're all raving lunatics.

There's only one race and that's the human race. Diversity is our
greatest strength.

Well, I hereby apologise for the unhealthy colour of skin, I apologise for the straightness of my hair, I apologise for the blood in my veins, I apologise for my ancestry, I apolgise for the fact my ancestors were civilised thousands of years ago. I apologise for stealing my school place from a more deserving white child, and I apologise for the language I speak, the words I use, and here and now, I apologise for my fucking existence.
