More on babysitting
Nov. 22nd, 2003 11:20 pmThe evening has been surprisingly pleasant. The child I was babysitting for, Alex, was an angel. He is four and has been sleeping through the night since the age of six weeks. Tonight was no exception. His mother's name is Lindsey and she was very nice, and left out way too much food for me which I did not eat. Mostly, I sat on the floor and worked a bit. Well, first I watched M*A*S*H (Alcoholics Unamimous, whoever's interested) and I meant to watch the Big Read (because ZZ9 were involved) but I forgot. I forgot because I was writing an essay on electoral systems. Which is all well and good, and I'm glad I've written the damn thing. I finished it, then started idly watching VH1 and the greatest songs ever, as you do. Lindsey and her husband (I think his name is Paul) got back at about eleven, and I am now at home and ten pounds richer.
My parents are not back yet. Life is all peaceful and quiet. I'm still bored...
