badficsupport - a closed community. Interesting fannish essays, interesting rants, but lots of wankage. Despite the name, the members are not supportive, merely snarky.
boy_touching - Yeah. Boys that touch. Girls and boys who like that and post pictures. Hell on your friends page alignment, but still.
community_promo - original and best, and I haven't been banned yet.
contrelamontre - ah, yes, my favourite community on LJ. Fun to participate, fun to watch, but is it just me or have the challenges lacked inspiration lately? I haven't been kicked into writing one ever since that little adventure into Snape/Lupin.
first_thoughts - automatic writing, automatic for the people, that sort of thing. I used to post a lot, as I do love free writing, but I haven't for a while.
grammar_whores - a lovely, lovely community full of anally-retentive people who get apoplectic over apostrophes. Kindred spirits. (Sentence fragment!)
hp100 - if contrelamontre's my favourite, this is my second favourite. Really good challenges and really good drabbles. Love it.
iconrequests - because we all have moments of weakness.
mash100th - shortly to be revived. I am permanentlyspeechless!co-moderator. Interestingly, memebership is still rising.
mash_slash - Classic. The LJ version of the more famous list, and full of slashy happy people.
mock_the_stupid - does what it says on the tin.
mtgs - the Society of the Damned, although some of its members are now honorary, having left the institution forever.
nanowrimo - I tried, I really did. Maybe I'll try again this year.
