Tea and memes

Yes, I'm still far from healthy, but I won't bore you all with the details. I didn't go to school, and my mother didn't go to work, as she still has back/neck pain. We had a pleasant morning, as she read her handbook of clinical medicine and I did my Chemistry and English, and she was remarkable reasonable the whole day, not complaining when I spent the rest of the day trying to write - "trying" is the operative word, as I seem to have lost the ability to verbalise - reading (Discworld again, natch) and doing a spot of beta-ing for gamesiplay. However, my mother did decide she was going to try and make me drink tea. It wasn't ordinary tea, she said. It was some sort of infusion, with odd ingredients - blackcurrant, vanilla and ginseng - and while it smelt wonderful it didn't taste of anything. Which just about sums up tea in general for me. I threw it down the sink.

I will go to school tomorrow, as it's a half day for me - lessons until twelve, then community service, which I don't have as the Stroke Association are on an outing to Aintree Racecourse. I'll probably drag myself home and do all the copying-up for the lessons I missed today.

osiris13. I've known her for thirteen years.

spiderdragon. About a month, I believe.

chanandlerbong. By virtue of being my best friend, of course.

I don't live in a state. Mwahaha.

Ah, scary-type question. There's so many and so many reasons, and I don't want to specify.

purplerainbow and gamesiplay.

15 ...is the most poetic?:
Not really the right answer for the question, but I do like gamesiplay's poetry very very much. And I don't, as a general thing, read poetry at all.

They're all unique. DNA an' all that.

17 ...posts the best pictures inside their entries?:
cucharita, whose ever-changing hair keeps me amused for hours.

18 ...has the best icons?:
cucharita's are nice, particularly the ones she draws herself, and I like purplerainbow's.

19 ...have you had an argument with online?:
shipperkitten and I have had a few spats, but they're the spice of life. Or some such mixed metaphor.

20 ...have you met face to face?:
chanandlerbong, cucharita, emerald_embers, flickgc, hathy_col, kittysplitter, lilka, osiris13, purplerainbow, nepygill, sexy_saba, spiderdragon and shipperkitten.

They're all on my friends list. I have a public journal. The logic is not very difficult to follow.

The answer to the previous question still applies.

captain_kruger. I am slightly smitten with him.

A lot of people do. gamesiplay and language_idling particularly, though.

enguarde. She's had four journals, and I cannot think of an entry made in any of them that I understood remotely.

scarlatti. She's lovely that way.

Not very many. I think cucharita and daemongirl, that's all.

28 ... is the most gorgeous?
I don't know what you all look like!

29 ... have you talked to on the phone?

Being a silly 'merrican, and a coffee drinker at that, I've found a way to give tea a taste, and a kick like a mule too. Tell me if you've tried this: leaving the tea (two bags) in the water while it's boiling for a good few minutes, then letting it steep for a good five minutes; meanwhile stirring in plenty of sugar and lemon juice. (and when possible, using Water Joe rather than regular water to brew it.)

Have not tried the trick with the tea, but I think I will, if only to annoy the parental units.

Thanks for good-luck wishes. They seem to be taking effect, as I feel more alive today than I did previously.
