Death

I need to know something. Terry Pratchett's Death (you know, has a scythe and speaks all in CAPS) has a name. I know he does. It might have appeared in a Discworld novel, or in the Johnny Maxwell trilogy, but most likely Good Omens. It's a name that isn't Asriel or Azrael, but sounds something like it, and I can't find it. Anyone know? Anyone at all?

It's Azrael - he says it in the scene in GO where the Them have faced down War, Pollution and Famine, to distinguish himself from the other three Horsepersons.

Sorry to cut in, but Death of the Discworld is called 'Mort'. See the 'Light Fantastic' and 'Mort'. Azrael is the Death of all Deaths - see 'Reaper Man' and yes, 'Good Omens' if you like.

As it happens, it doesn't matter which Death appears my little fic, so "Azrael" will do, but thanks for the snippet. I've only read one Discworld novel, you see, and am not all that well-informed.

Best I could come up with is in Good Omens, on pg. 51, where he's called 'Another'

If it gives him another name later I'm not sure, I'll keep looking.
