My first thought this morning was the the weather had turned. I've been saying it for weeks, haven't I - the weather is going to go horrible on June 17th. I was partly right, and partly wrong - the weather is not as hot, but it's still summer.

We started late, as someone thought it was in the afternoon, and the exam was long. Too long. I started getting twitchy about halfway through, and besides, the paper was driving me nuts. I don't know a damn thing about transistors and capacitors, and the questions weren't about physics anyway. The first one was, "What is an extra-terrestrial?" followed by questions about bacteria in outer space. There were then some normal questions, but they finished off with an essay about the advantages and disadvantages of security cameras. Gah. I got bored and started writing about Orwellian dystopia.

That's all nothing to do with it, of course - my exams are over. Afterwards, I saw Mrs Custard and told her that I'd never sorted out my A-level choices. She suggested I go and see Mrs Moon immediately, so I did. She was nice, and kind, and sweet, and plainly didn't give a fuck. I don't fit the timetable. I'm doing Biology. Pedar will raise hell but I suspect it won't achieve anything. I ambled on out - Becca, Meg and Kat had waited for me - and told them, and just didn't talk for a while.

Becca, despite her annoyance that Bev and Yusra stayed in school for lunch, was nice enough not to push me into coming with her and Kat. I went home, and here I am, and I'm trying not to think about it. I bought a mint Aero on the way - I think I'll eat it now, and read for a while.

Blah. It's not like IT actually involves much revision, anyhow.

I thought Physics was good, except that first question. Meep...

I believe I said something along the lines that the scientists believed that the pulses were from intelligence life because that's what they want to believe.
Also that security cameras infringed on the rights that every human being has. I'm sure I mentioned that in the classics exam yesterday. God knows why.

It was a lame exam.
