Any regular followers of this journal will know that some time ago, I had an altercation with an electric gate. It hasn't worked since - all we did to it was put it on manual release so we can open by hand to get in and out. Now, we have finally discovered what made it stop working.
There's an ants' nest in the control box. Fan-bloody-tastic.
Anyway, that aside...
My mother's doing an exam today, Pedar's got a clinic, so I'm all on my ownsome.
I'm reading fic and browing the message boards.
And ignoring Physics and Classics, go figure.
Bored now.

We're replacing the control box next week. Murphy's Law, methinks.
