I got up at nine and felt awake. I am no longer feeling somnambulistic - that's the good thing. I had to do the whole of Germany today - out of four topics, I have done three. That's another good thing. But everything in the garden is not lovely. I am sick of revision. I am sick of exams. I am sick of the fucking Nazi party and the Nuremburg Laws and the mass rallies and the hyper-inflation statistics and the Geheime Staatspolizei. Admittedly the exam is tomorrow, but I don't care.

I just want to get out and do something. The weather's beautiful. I want to sit on the grass and talk, I want to spend an hour in Quiggins buying beads and inhaling the smell in Heaven on Earth, I want to get thrown out of Waterstone's, I want to go to the Harry Potter!midnight opening at Pritchard's. I want to go the beach and walk down the water's edge with purplerainbow. I'd like to go to that party with Becca. Go to the Anglican cathedral graveyard and watch the kung-fu guys practicing with _detroit. Be the cockroach-in-pain peanut gallery when shipperkitten watches shippy Stargate episodes.

In short, I'd like to be anywhere except at home with a yellow history file. Procrastinating.
